A little about me

Hey, I’m Josh — a front-end developer turned product designer with 12+ years of experience building and refining digital products. I love taking complex problems and turning them into clear, intuitive experiences that actually work for people.

I’m at my best when I’m collaborating closely with engineers, thinking through real user needs, and shipping practical solutions.

My journery

Web Designer (2011-2013)

I started my career designing marketing-focused websites, learning how layout, hierarchy, and visual clarity influence how people engage with content. This phase grounded me in the fundamentals of the web and sparked my interest in how design decisions shape user behavior.

Front-End Dev (2013-2018)

I moved into front-end development to bring designs to life in code, building responsive and accessible interfaces for real-world use. This is where I learned to think in systems, components, and constraints — and where design and engineering truly began to overlap for me.

UX Designer (2018-2021)

As a UX designer, I focused on simplifying complex enterprise workflows in finance and healthcare. I began owning design systems, accessibility standards, and end-to-end user experiences — shifting from screens to systems.

Product Desinger (2021-Present)

Today, I work as a senior product designer leading end-to-end experiences for enterprise platforms. I design scalable systems, partner closely with engineering, and help teams move faster by reducing friction between design, product, and code.

My core values

Collaborator

Whether it’s exploring new ideas, jumping into CSS tweaks, or whiteboarding through a problem, I work best alongside my team to drive the strongest outcome.

Accountable

Ownership doesn’t stop at approval. I stay invested through launch and beyond, refining and improving until the experience truly works for customers.

Relentless

I’m comfortable in ambiguity and persistent in pushing through blockers to deliver meaningful results — even when there are hidden dragons.

Craft Across Disciplines

I design and code, bridging the gap between vision and implementation to build practical, high-quality experiences.

Random facts I'll probably mention when we chat

We have lots of trees

My wife and I just bought a 78 acre tree farm in upstate NY. We plan on starting a tree farm there and make the kids run it.

There are some poodles running around

We have 2 small poodles, noodles and squash, that ensure all of our pillows are laid on and know exactly when to bark during calls.

Located in good old New Hampshire (for now)

I’m probably the first person you’ve met from here. My family and I love to hike all the many trails NH has to offer.

Where I've been

From early-stage startups to scaling organizations, I’ve helped teams turn ideas into shipped, usable products.
